Daniel Bradley, 2nd Dan

Daniel’s first experience in the martial arts was training in Judo as a child; and he never lost the taste for it. As an adult, he tried several karate clubs and enjoyed them, but they never took hold. Then in 2007 he found DKK and it was a revelation.

“From the first class training with DKK was a kick to the gut, both literally and metaphorically. It is a formidable atmosphere, and the sweet thrill of fear which I feel whenever I walk into the dojo is a big part of what I love about it. The all-inclusive nature of Goju-Ryu means that there is always something new to learn, or some neglected skill for me to polish, and means that the sources from which I can take inspiration are almost endless. I am honoured to have the opportunity to train under Sensei Mulholland and alongside fellow students of such calibre and diversity.”

Daniel achieved the rank of Shodan-Ho in Summer School 2013 and graded to full Shodan a year later in 2014. He completed his 30 Man Kumite and achieved the grade of Nidan (2nd Dan) in 2017.
