Diccon began training in 1991 in Lau Gar Kung-Fu. He continued until 1996, before switching to Goju-Ryu Karate-Do with the YKKF in Canada. Upon returning to the UK he trained in Ju-jitsu before joining Daigaku Karate Kai in 1999.
