Dyson Roberts wins

Dyson joined DKK in 2007 and holds the rank of 5th Kyu (blue belt).

Eager to begin his MMA career, he entered the reality Cage Fighting TV show "Fighting Hurts" and was selected as one of just 16 contestants.

Though only a welterweight (and Orange belt at the time) he competed successfully against light-heavyweights to win a place in the final at the main Cage Rage show.

While giving away almost 10kg, he fought the experienced boxer Leigh Alliss were he was ultimately defeated in the third round after a very strong performance.

Dyson's next fight in Ultimate Challenge "Unbreakable" (Feb 2009) at his real weight of welterweight saw him defeat his opponent in under two minutes of the first round by TKO.

He stopped his next opponent, Michael Brown, by 'ground n pound' in the second round on 11th July 2009 and forced Brett Bassett to tap out in the first due to relentless strikes in December 2009.

Dyson's next two fights saw him return a loss by rear naked choke against Jamaine Facey and a victory over Colin French by TKO.

With a record of 6:2 Dyson decided to become a professional fighter and currently trains out of the excellent Team Titan camp where we wish him every ongoing success in the future.
