Edgelson Lua

Edgelson Lua holds the rank of brown belt with DKK which he achieved in December 2008.
His cage-fighting debut took place in November 2007 and his first three fights saw him deliver two impressive knockouts - one with each hand.
In February 2009 he beat the highly-rated Scott Janson and a month later he defeated 'Dynamite' Dean Bray early in the first round. Edge fought in the semi-finals for the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) Welterweight title in June 2009 but just lost out to Ch'e Mills by decision after a gruelling three-round battle.
Edge fought for the Ultimate Challenge British Welterweight Title in October 2009 taking on the undefeated Brazilian fighter, Alberto Mina. After a valiant effort with Edge clearly superior on his feet, Mina managed to get the take down and secure an arm bar to win the fight.
